Many customers in the Romanian market are not familiar with the expenses incurred by a translation agency. This lack of information gradually results in an underestimation of the complexity of the work carried out by a translation agency, and usually leads to the customer making desperate requests for lower prices. This should be seen against a background of an increased need for investment in the Romanian translation industry: from computer equipment and translation memory software and other work-specific tools to adequate remuneration for translators, more specialised translation programs and marketing budgets.
In order to ensure that our Romanian customers are well informed, we have drawn up a cost model for the "average" translation agency. We hope that this model will help customers get a good idea of the level of prices for different services.
